Ezra siller

Managing Director

Ezra is a founding principal of Nomos Capital, and is responsible for originating, underwriting, and structuring investment opportunities in Canadian litigation and arbitration. He provides prospective funded parties and their counsel with strategic advice and analysis at all stages of the litigation life-cycle. Before joining Nomos, Ezra was a litigator at Torys LLP in Toronto, where his practice focused on commercial and administrative litigation and regulatory matters. He has experience in white-collar criminal defense work and complex commercial litigation in New York, and has published on the subjects of enforcing foreign judgments and the history of U.S. federal deposition practice.

Ezra served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Ontario Court of Appeal. He holds a J.D. from the Yale Law School, an M.A. from Columbia University, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. from Yale University. Ezra is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a member of the New York bar.

Ezra is a director of Neighbourhood Information Post, a Toronto-based non-profit organization focused on reducing homelessness and improving quality of life in the Downtown East community.
