Philip co-founded Nomos Capital. He is currently Co-CEO of BroadRiver Asset Management, a manager of non-correlated alternative fixed-income investments for institutional investors, which he co-founded in 2009. He practiced corporate law in Toronto and from 1982 to 1992 served as Senior Vice-President and Special Counsel at Olympia & York Developments Limited. In 1992, Philip founded Hexagram & Co., a venture management firm providing management services and capital to successful private companies in Canada. From 2006 to 2009, Philip was Co-CEO of Eastport Capital Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs & Co.
Philip is Vice-Chair of the Board of The Fields Institute for Research in the Mathematical Sciences, a world-renowned institution devoted to the advancement of mathematics research and education. He has lectured in law and political science at University of Toronto and serves on the International Advisory Board of the Minerva Center for Human Rights at The Faculty of Law at The Hebrew University (Jerusalem). Philip holds an LL.B. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, a Ph.D. (Mathematics) from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S from The City College of New York.

Before joining Nomos Capital, Ezra was a litigator at Torys LLP in Toronto, where his practice focused on commercial and administrative litigation and regulatory matters. He has experience in white-collar criminal defense work and complex commercial litigation in New York, and has published on the subjects of enforcing foreign judgments and the history of U.S. federal deposition practice.
Ezra served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Ontario Court of Appeal. He holds a J.D. from the Yale Law School, an M.A. from Columbia University, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. from Yale University. Ezra is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a member of the New York bar.

Andrew is co-founder and Co-CEO of BroadRiver Asset Management and, from 2006 to 2009, was Co-CEO of Eastport Capital Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs & Co.
Andrew has extensive private-equity experience on behalf of family offices and has acted as interim CEO of venture-backed firms in a variety of businesses, including satellite imaging and health-care informatics. Andrew holds an M.B.A. from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
